Ron MoelisRon Moelis, CEO & Chairman

Ron Moelis is a co-founder and principal of L+M Development Partners (formerly L&M Equity Partcipants) and also a principal in L+M Builders LLC. Ron serves as Vice Chairman of the New York State Association for Affordable Housing and as an advisory board member of the Housing Partnership. He sits on the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of NY, the Board of Directors of the Citizens Housing & Planning Council and the NYU Law Real Estate Institute. Ron is also on the Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania, the Board of Trustees of the Rye Country Day School and the NYU Law School Board of Trustees. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he holds both a B.A. in history and a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School. He also has a J.D. from New York University, and spent a year as law clerk for the Honorable Stanley Brotman of the Federal District Court in New Jersey.

Sanford LoewentheilSanford Loewentheil, Vice Chairman

Sanford Loewentheil is a third-generation builder and has been a developer for nearly 30 years. Since founding L+M Development Partners (formerly L&M Equity Partcipants) in 1984, his focus has been on the construction and development of affordable housing in the tri-state area. Sandy is currently working with local high schools and Washington University to set up a series of college scholarships to enable students from urban areas to attend Washington University and other schools. He also serves on the Washington University Arts and Sciences National Council.

Debra KenyonDebra Kenyon, Chief Operating Officer

Debra Kenyon joined L&M in 1993 as General Counsel and also served as a Director of Development Activities before assuming her current role. Her responsibilities have included managing all aspects of development projects; performing legal work relating to financing, construction, sales, development and tax credit equity placements for affordable housing developments, including oversight of outside counsel; and consulting in connection with low income housing tax credits. Prior to joining L&M, Debbie was Special Counsel at Berwin Leighton in New York City. From 1982 until 1991, she was a Corporate Associate at Robinson Silverman Pearce Aronsohn & Berman in New York City. Debbie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the State University of New York at Binghamton and earned a J.D. from the New York University School of Law. She is on the Board of Directors and past president of the Mamaroneck Schools Foundation.

Richard WeinstockRichard Weinstock, President of Construction

Richard Weinstock has been involved with real estate and construction since 1984. He began his career in Brooklyn, developing abandoned brownstones in historic neighborhoods and restoring them to obtain the Historic Tax Credit. His company also built custom homes and managed general contracting for other developers, including L&M. He joined the company as a Project Manager in 1995 has been involved in almost every project built by L&M since then, including the construction of nearly 3,000 housing units. More recently, he has taken an active role in the pre-development phase, with a focus on building quality and innovative housing that is attractive, energy efficient and eco-friendly. Richard holds an M.S. degree from Columbia University and has completed all course work for an M.B.A. from Pace University.

Lenny RuebenLenny Rueben, Chief Financial Officer

Lenny Rueben joined L&M in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for managing relationships with lenders, investors and auditors as well as leading the firm’s accounting, human resources and information technology groups. Prior to joining L&M, Lenny spent six years with Ernst & Young’s Management Consulting Practice, where he led numerous financial reengineering and system integration projects for Fortune 50 clients. Lenny also spent five years as controller for a large developer of Class A office and luxury coops in Manhattan. Lenny earned an M.B.A. with honors in Finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University, and a B.S. in Accounting from Ithaca College.

Lisa GomezLisa Gomez, Executive Vice President of Development

Lisa Gomez oversees all aspects of development from site selection through marketing for L+M’s properties.   Lisa has more than 20 years of experience in real estate finance and development. Prior to joining L+M, she was Senior Vice President of Development at the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC), one of the country’s most active multi-family bond issuers. At HDC, she was responsible for developing policy and financing programs to stimulate the creation of affordable housing in New York City as part of Mayor Bloomberg’s “New Housing Marketplace” team.  Lisa also held various positions at JP Morgan Chase Bank, the New York City Economic Development Corporation and Silverstein Properties, among others. Lisa is active on a number of civic boards and was a Commissioner of the New York City Planning Commission from 2004-2007.

Gerald L. MiceliGerald L. Miceli, Executive Vice President of Construction

Gerald Miceli has over 20 years of experience in the General Buildling industry with the vast majority in the residential market. He graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College in 1988. He soon followed his roots and joined the NY construction industry. Gerald worked for Turner Construction for 18 years in various positions working his way up to a Senior Project Manager. He was responsible for the completion of many residential projects including 60 West 55th Street, Avalon at Glen Cove, Avalon on the Sound and Hudson Park Redevelopment. In January, 2006, leaving an executive position behind, he joined L&M Builders Group. As EVP of Construction, he is accountable for all aspects of construction on our projects. He is a former original member of the Manhattan College Mentoring committee and current New Rochelle Boys & Girls Club committee member. He resides with his wife, Carolyn, & two children, Mia and Mark, in New Rochelle, New York.

David Dishy, Executive Vice President for Acquisition & Investment

David Dishy is responsible for new acquisitions and investments for L+M.   In this capacity, David manages the New York Affordable Housing (NYAH) Preservation Fund, an investment platform with Citi Community Capital as well as components of L+M’s joint venture with Goldman Sachs’ Urban Investment Group (GSLM).  Prior to joining L+M, David served as Senior Vice President for residential with Forest City Ratner Companies and then as a Managing Director for residential development and acquisition with Tishman Speyer in New York.  He has been a key participant in transactions involving over 10,000 apartments and $5 billion of investment.   David began his career working in city planning and economic development.  He serves on the New York Advisory Board of Enterprise Community Partners and was a fellow with Coro Leadership New York.  David graduated from Harvard with an honors B.A. degree in urban studies and earned an M.S. in real estate development from Columbia.
