L+M Development Partners, Inc. is excited to be partnering with Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. and Providence Community Housing to create a new mixed income community in New Orleans on the site where the Lafitte public housing development once stood.  The first phase was completed in 2011 and the second phase is currently under construction.  The first two phases consist of approximately $77 million in total development costs and includes the construction of 276 public housing and low income units in a mix of single family homes, duplexes, and 6-plex buildings.  The project is being financed by low income housing tax credit equity, public housing capital provided by the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds provided by the State of Louisiana's Office of Community Development (OCD), and bonds issued by the City of New Orleans Industrial Development Board (IDB).
